“Artex” tradition started in 1958 with founder Sheikh Omar Al Abdullatif, who recognized the business potential in trading of Furniture & furnishing artistry which converted into full-fledged manufacturing in 1980. After making modest progress in the field, he moved into Carpet manufacturing business by establishing “Saudi Carpet Factory” during the year during 1981 in 2nd New Industrial City in Riyadh producing Tufted & Woven Carpets.

In the year 2007, the company became a joint stock company listed on Saudi Tadawul Stock Exchange, and renamed itself as “Al Abdullatif Industrial Investment Company” leaving behind the family legacy. Over the years, the company evolved itself as a diversified manufacturer of world-class Carpets, Rugs & Non-Wovens selling
directly to manufacturers, exporters, importers, retailers.
